Elwick Bark, 2008 Works Festival
The Works Festival

The Works is the City of Glenorchy's award winning* biennial festival of art and community. A project of Glenorchy City Council, the late autumn Festival is held in May of every even year. We develop the Works in partnership with a range of community organisations and our generous public and private sponsors.

The Works presents a concentrated program of arts and cultural activities including music, visual arts, craft, theatre, new media, as well as hands on workshops, presented in streets, parks and the City's major cultural venues, including the Derwent Entertainment Centre and the Moonah Arts Centre.

Its great chance for City residents of all ages and background, to get creative, work with friends, meet people and of course - have fun!

The Works is distinctive for the quality of its innovative programming and emphasis on direct participation in the development and presentation of the Festival program.

Please enjoy the images and information from recent Festivals and please contact us to see how you can be involved in May 2010!
