Glenorchy City Council officially welcomed our newest Australian citizens in a ceremony at KGV on Wednesday, 30 March.
The ceremony, presided over by Mayor Bec Thomas, saw 72 new citizens from 19 different countries, including Nepal, Pakistan, India and Ethiopia.
Glenorchy City Council holds several ceremonies each the year on behalf of the Commonwealth Department of Home Affiars, where new Australian citizens are officially welcomed into our community.
