The Glenorchy City Council offices will close at 5.00 p.m. on Thursday, 14 April and re-open at 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 20 April 2022.

Waste, Recycling and FOGO Collection
All Waste, Recycling and FOGO collections will be undertaken as usual during the Easter period. Wheelie bins are to be placed kerbside prior to 6.00 a.m. on the day of your collection.
During the Easter break, please direct any enquiries regarding your collection to Veolia Environmental Services on (03) 6244 0000.
*Please note, due to ongoing challenges with driver shortage, your bin may be collected later than usual on your collection day*
The Jackson Street Waste Management Centre
The Jackson Street Waste Management Centre (the landfill) will be closed on Good Friday (15 April). Normal opening hours will apply on all other days. Please go to the Jackson Street landfill website www.jacksonstlandfill.com.au for real-time information. Please note that sometimes bad weather can force the landfill to close temporarily.
Tolosa Park
Tolosa Park will continue to open every day.
Opening times are: Weekdays, weekends and public holidays from 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Child Care Centres
The Berriedale and Benjafield Child Care Centres will close at 6.00 p.m. on Thursday,
14 April and re-open at 7.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 20 April.
Moonah Arts Centre (MAC)
The MAC will be closed on Good Friday, 15 April. Open on Saturday, 16 April from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. The MAC will then be closed from Sunday, 17 April and re-open on Wednesday, 20 April.
