The Golden Years Club at the Council-owned property 314 Main Road, Glenorchy has recently ceased operation. The Golden Years Club provided important services and programs to the Glenorchy community, and particularly for older people.
Glenorchy City Council are seeking a new head tenant at this facility that can provide similarly important services and programs, to benefit the Glenorchy community.
Applications closed at 5:00pm on Wednesday, 2 April, 2025. A report will be presented at a future Council meeting for a decision. Applicants will be informed of the outcome once a decision has been made and any necessary negotiations are finalised.

Major Community Group or Other Groups: requires further negotiation on a case by case basis taking into account the cost recovery of depreciation and maintenance; facility sharing; condition of the facility; the group’s financial position; and any other relevant factors and approved by the Chief Executive Officer. Commercial Operations: will require commercial market rates. |
