Council Offices
The Glenorchy City Council offices will close at 5.00 p.m. on Thursday, 17 April 2025 and re-open at 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 23 April 2025.
The Council offices will also be closed on Friday, 25 April 2025 for ANZAC day.

Waste, Recycling and FOGO Collection
There are no changes to the waste collection services over the Easter Period or on ANZAC day. Wheelie bins are to be placed on the kerbside before 6.00 a.m. on the day of your collection. During Council’s Easter closure period if you have any questions about your waste, recycling or FOGO collections please call Veolia Environmental Services on (03) 6244 0000.
The Jackson Street Waste Management Centre
The Jackson Street Waste Management Centre (the landfill) will be closed on Good Friday, 18 April 2025. Normal opening hours will apply on all other days. Go to the website www.jacksonstlandfill.com.au for real-time information. Please note that sometimes bad weather can force the landfill to close temporarily.
Tolosa Park
Tolosa Park will continue to open every day. Current opening times are weekdays, weekends and public holidays from 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Moonah Arts Centre
The Moonah Arts Centre will be closed on Good Friday, 18 April 2025. It will be open on Saturday, 19 April 2025 from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. The Centre will then be closed from Sunday, 20 April 2025 and re-open on Wednesday, 23 April 2025. The Centre will also be closed Friday, 25 April 2025 for ANZAC day.
Berriedale and Benjafield Child Care Centres
The Berriedale and Benjafield Child Care Centres will close at 6.00 p.m. on Thursday, 17 April 2025 and re-open at 7.30 a.m. on Monday, 28 April 2025.
