Growing Glenorchy

We are taking on plenty of new and exciting activities to both develop Glenorchy but also to grow and improve our existing services. This includes engaging with local stakeholders to discuss opportunities, and becoming involved in strategic activities for economic growth. And we are proud of the results we are already seeing.

EPIC

The he Economic Participation and Implementation Collaborator (EPIC) Group is open to all business owners and operators in Glenorchy.

Economic recovery plan

We have identified a suite of projects aimed at stimulating Glenorchy’s economy in response to the COVID-19 crisis, as well as strengthening our growing city.

Activity City

We have created an online directory to showcase our local businesses that are making, selling, serving and doing wonderful things for the community.

Hobart City Deal

The City Deal is a 10-year partnership between the Australian and Tasmanian Governments, and Glenorchy, Hobart, Clarence and Kingborough councils.
