We have several facilities available for hire for all kinds of local events. You can book the venues for your event using our make a booking form.
Hire details
- A bond of $500.00 & key deposit of $70.00 must be paid before the key is issued.
- There is a cleaning charge of $138.40 applied if the venue is not left in a satisfactory condition.
- If you are eligible for a waiver of hire fees please complete the Application for Waiver form

631 MAIN ROAD, BERRIEDALE
The Berriedale Centre is available for training, meetings and corporate functions but no parties.
There are two meeting rooms with electric wall heaters.
There is a kitchen with a pie oven, fridge, urn and oven.
There is no cutlery or crockery. The centre has approximately 70 chairs with 10 tables.
The hall is wheelchair accessible.

The Chigwell Barn is available for training, meetings, sporting activities and social functions.
The main hall has line markings for sporting activities.
There is a meeting room with 25 chairs and electric wall heating.
The kitchen has a fridge, oven, urn and pie oven.
There is no cutlery or crockery.
The hall is accessible.

41 MAIN ROAD, CLAREMONT
The Claremont hall is available for training, meetings, sporting activities and social functions.
The main hall has a stage area with curtains, change rooms, ceiling heaters, 75 chairs and 12 trestle tables.
There is a bar area in the foyer where the toilets are situated.
The meeting room has electric wall heaters with tables and chairs. The kitchen has a stove, urn and pie oven.

10 HALL ROAD, COLLINSVALE
The Collinsvale Hall is available for Weddings, Meetings, Exhibition or Display space (exhibitors would need to supply free standing display boards), small scale Cultural, Music or Markets.
The main hall is line marked, has seating and tables if required and
Basic kitchen is inclusive of Small Oven, Fridge, Freezer and Urn. Hirers MUST bring their own cleaning products, utensils and crockery. No heating available at this venue.

23-27 Albert Road, Moonah
PERFORMANCE STUDIO
The Performance Studio at the Moonah Arts Centre in Lutruwita/Tasmania is a purpose-built facility designed to give local and visiting artists, presenters and educators an exceptional presentation experience in the vibrant and central location of Moonah.
Our flexible Performance Studio is perfect for concerts, theatre, film screenings, presentations and conferences.
CAPACITY
The Performance Studio space measures 9.6m x 17.6m (169m2).
With a 6m x 4m stage, the space can comfortably seat up to 130 people.
An unseated can accommodate up to 300 people.
FEES
For artists and arts organisation, we offer the space at a discounted rate of $220 (per day) inclusive of staging, seating, full audio system, lighting, and projection.
For business, government and other organisations, the day rate is $450 (per day) with the same inclusions.
We’re also pleased to offer a five-hour supported presentation package which includes Venue Manager, Duty Technician and Venue Hire at $924 for touring crews and $680 for performances and events developed in Tasmania.

Moonah Community Centre is available for Meetings, Sports Activities, weddings & Parties.
The main hall is line marked, has seating and includes high powered electric heaters.
The Kitchen is inclusive of Fridge, stove, & Pie Oven as well as a range of crockery & utensils.
The Reception Room includes chairs, trestle tables, a piano and electric heaters.
The Committee room includes chairs, tables, electric heaters, and has a small kitchenette.
Hirers Must Bring Their Own Vacuum Cleaner, Tea Towels & Glasses (if required).
